Leading South African online retailer of furniture, bedding and decor is seeking a young, energetic and creative JUNIOR ONLINE MARKETING COORDINATOR to assist in taking the prestigious brand to new heights with innovative ideas and strategies. Candidate must be willing to travel, work weekends and overtime as expected of them as they will join a high pressured and dynamic environment.

The person must be an independent and creative thinker, incredibly proactive and organised. The key goal is to explore unique and effective ways to increase brand awareness and maximise sales by understanding the impact of the marketing strategy across the business.

Qualifications and Preferable Experience Required:
• Must have Matric
• Tertiary qualification (B degree or equivalent in Marketing / Communications / Digital or similar) would be an added advantage
• Must have at least 2 years’ experience working in the ecommerce / online industry
• Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Marketing intern or in a Junior Marketing role
• Very strong administration skills
• Experience with Product Development
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Experience in Social Media Management (Facebook Ad Manager is a MUST)
• Experience in writing blogs
• Must have excellent writing skills
• Must be able to analyze and measure their own results and report back to management on a weekly basis
• Content marketing experience
• Digital marketing knowledge
• Adwords competency and understanding implementation
• Mailchimp experience and how to set up lists, create campaigns and schedule campaigns
