What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the metal goods manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Create Daily Production Plans (Excel)

* Create Job and Shipment Schedules

* Production Status Tracking

* Identify Issues with Lost Production Time and Opportunities for Improvement

* Expedite Flow of Materials

Key Job Deliverables:

Create Capacity & Resource Plans

* Manage Production & Planning Worksheets (Excel)

* Analyse and Report on Production Data & Production Efficiencies

Background work experience:

* 3 years Production Planning (Large Plant)

* 3 years Production Tracking Sheets on Excel

* 3 years Expediting Raw Materials

* 3 years Data Driven Analysis of Production Operations

* Dip Cost and Management Accounting OR Dip Supply Chain Management OR Studying towards such a Qualification

* Production Planning

* Planning the production of a large plant including schedules, raw materials, jobs and shipments

* Using Excel to track current production status and update accordingly

* Expediting the Raw Materials and Documentation required for production

* Working with shop floor management to understand production performance figures and how performance can be enhanced

* Advantageous: FMCG Manufacturing Experience

Location: Boksburg, Ekurhuleni

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R180K to R240K per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
