Junior PSIRA B Mine Security Risk Information Officer Gauteng
Reporting to the Security Information Coordinator
Must have a National Certificate Security Risk Management (NQF level 5) or equivalent.
Must have no less than 3 years working Intelligence collection related experience in SAPS crime intelligence or related fields
Must have a PSIRA Grade B certificate
Must have a Certificate in Intelligence and Analyses Techniques
Must have Computer Literacy and Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have own Valid driver's license and own transport beneficial
Please note travelling will also be required
Must be willing to relocate to all areas and outside of Gauteng if needed
Must Have knowledge and experience of the Criminal and Procedures Act.
Must have working experience in security audit techniques, in order to identify security weakness.
Working experience and skill with regards to crime investigation activities
Utilise system and maximise automation increased effectiveness.
Working experience and skill with regards to security systems.
Participate in Information/Intelligence driven projects internally to theft.
Work with law enforcement agencies and external stakeholders in theft related risk and projects with company
Collect, record and report information and intelligence acquired from various networks for analysis to support the overall Security Information objectives.
Collect information/intelligence in line with standard intelligence practices and processes and develop an information / intelligence collection plan
Develop networks in strategic environments
Identify areas of interest of focus in line with the Information/Intelligence objectives and strategy.
Reporting of information/intelligence to company
Accurately and comprehensively record all information/intelligence received on Security Database for analysis purposes.
Utilise external stakeholders as required.
Submit financial annual budget to the Security Information Coordinator for approval.
Submit monthly reconciliations of finances to the Security Information Coordinator
Identify and report on control and standard
Report Deviations, failures, inefficiencies for action, feedback
Identify and assist in efforts to address community grievances and potential threats to improving relationships
Assess social, political, environmental and economic environment as well as human rights issues and advice on
Potential impacts to company
Identify and report employees and contractors involved in theft activities as well as weaknesses
Treatment and recovery processes, which could be exploited Identify + report on control/standard failures/inefficiencies and risk in diamond export and operations' production processes for action and feedback.
Report non-compliance issues.
