Job description
A prominent Gauteng-based construction contracting company is looking to employ the services of a junior QS.

You will report directly to the general manager.

Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
Measuring and sign offs with client QS
Preparing monthly valuations
General contracts management
Job costings
Quality control
Previous experience with large construction companies and on large refurbishment and construction projects will be a distinct advantage.

Requirements
Two to five years' experience
Valid drivers licence
Proficient in the use of Excel
Mobile phone
Skills and experience:
Quantity surveying/site management
Supervisor

Prioritising duties
Ordering of material utilised on site
Planning of work ahead and keeping to planning schedule
Recording of completed works
Recording of hours worked by each employee
