We are seeking a junior analyst within the risk division to join SANNE Management Company (Manco), a Collective Investment Schemes (CIS) hosting platform for both hedge funds and unit trusts. Our hosting solution offers strong operational, risk management and compliance services while the investment manager can focus on the investment decision-making process. We guide the client through all aspects of portfolio structuring, application, set-up and on-going operations, enabling bespoke and complex requirements to be met.

Key responsibilities
- Ensuring all day-to-day risk tasks and breach management issues are attended to timeously within client SLA timelines.
- Risk reporting requirements such as Monthly and Quarterly risk report distribution to FSCA and investors.
- Reconciling data between accounting system and risk system.
- Engaging with internal teams (such as Fund Accounting, Investor Services, Custody, Risk and Compliance) as well as external counterparties (such as prime brokers, Trustee, custodians and investment managers) in a professional and collaborative manner.
- Continual review and development of the risk mitigating controls and
procedures.
- Report back and attend the SANNE Manco Risk & Compliance Committee.
- Resolve errors and queries timeously through engagement with various parties.
- Engaging with the Compliance team on various issues impacting the Manco.
- Enhance knowledge of CIS with the option of attending a CIS course.

Skills / experience
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Experience in the Collective Investment Scheme (CIS) industry preferable.
- Understanding of risk monitoring and management on portfolios.
- Strong knowledge of quantitative analysis and calculation of various risk measures.
- Qualifications with specialisation in accounting or investment management preferred. Other qualifications such as CFA, CAIA, FRM an advantage.
- Microsoft Excel and ability to interrogate and sort data essential.

- Problem solving. Quickly understand business issues and data challenges to develop a solution.
- Detail-oriented and able to identify shortcomings in processes and process procedures.
