Purpose:
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and modifying our clients’ websites and must be able to create user-friendly websites that are visually appealing, innovative and responsive in every way.

He/she must have a profound understanding of the integration between front-end and back-end structures. We are looking for someone with the ability to conceptualise and research web-based solutions and can work in a team or independently. A highly self-disciplined, self-motivator!

Duties will include, but not limited to:
Designing, maintaining and implementing website coding architecture and new features as required
Coding for the creation of new and maintenance of existing websites
Proposing website solutions as required
Coding and testing of mailers to best practice standards
Work closely with clients
Manage project timelines

Essential Requirements:
• Basic to intermediate understanding and experience with designing websites.
• Good understanding, knowledge and an appreciation for the vital importance of CSS.
• Must have a live portfolio of Wordpress sites (We need to understand the candidate has solid work but not at the risk of poor CSS or poor html (not too much custom code)
• Good ability and experience with visual builders (specifically - Elementor & Visual Composer)
• A desire to stay on top of CMS trends (new plugins, software etc.)
• Should be able to hold a conversation with the team when talking about UI, UX and the importance of such.

• WooCommerce - able to set it up and add payment methods

• Familiar with WordPress plugins
