KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER sought by our client, a well-established international company in the food additive industry. The position is based at the offices in Johannesburg, and some regional travel will be required.

We are looking for a strong, goal and career-orientated and driven person.

Main responsibilities include:
Growing and enhancing the Company’s reputation in the industry
Meeting short and long term budget objectives
Identifying key strategic growth opportunities in the market and pursuing these to fruition
Pricing strategies, profitability and expenditure
Customer service and value offers within the region
Managing projects and initiatives with regard to business expansion in the area

Minimum requirements:
Commercial Degree / Bachelor Degree in Science
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the food ingredients, chemical or related Industry
Sales & key account management – ability to apply strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting
Industry knowledge, with a network of customers
Understanding of profitability goals for key accounts
Computer Literate (MS Word; MS Excel; MS PowerPoint)
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Ability to work in a matrix environment, integrating different perspectives yet maintaining independent objectivity
High degree of self-motivation and mobility
Experience in working with different nationalities and cultures
Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, honesty and reliability
Ability to travel within the region as per business requirement

Salary is R1 000 000 – R1 200 000 CTC per annum negotiable for the right candidate. Standard large company benefits apply.
