Sovereign is a national supplier of quality chicken products to various markets and has operations in the Eastern Cape and
Gauteng Provinces. The Commercial division of Sovereign Foods is looking for an individual to assume the responsibilities
of Key Account Manager: Exports. The successful incumbent will report directly to the Division Head of Finance. The Key
Accounts Manager will be responsible for establishing international relationships and exploring new product development
with export customers. The ideal candidate must be in possession of a national diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business or
relevant Tertiary qualification and 5 years relevant experience within FMCG. 2 years’ experience within customs and excise
is essential.

Results Required:

Design and implement Export Strategy
? Establish a greater international footprint for Exports
? Monitor all existing and prospective international markets and identify appropriate business opportunities
? Review all company products and maintain the brand standards
? Achieve budgeted Exports volumes
? Pursue Export accreditation on key destinations (Africa ,EU,Asia, etc)
? Work closely alongside NPD to stay ahead on innovation
? Prepare all export documents within required timeframe and schedule efficient shipping activities
? Build strong relationships with Export agents and partners
