About the job:

Our Client who is based in the Northern Cape is involved in Mining and Mining Development throughout South Africa has a permanent position for suitably qualified Key Accounts Manager to be based in Kuruman.
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for the account management, tactical planning,
key account negotiations, direct involvement of organizational strategy development,
facilitation of implementation within the boundaries of strategic organizational plans and
stakeholder management.
The ideal applicant will be of energetic and assertive, of acceptable habits with a clear credit and criminal record
Salary: R 35 000 per Month CTC with incentives based on sales.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Build strategic business relationships with key accounts stakeholders through
• managing accounts to the company's standards
• Manage all accounts through trading terms process and regular business meetings
• Regular reporting, monitoring of performance of plan vs actual measures and to draft
• action plans in conjunction with sales to close the gap for achieving, ROI etc
• Manage and develop the strategic account management international framework
• within the allocated channels and national accounts
• Budget allocation and forecasting by account in order to optimize ROI and to achieve
• the set short term and long term KPI’s
• Joint responsibility with management for development, implementation and
• management at account level of Company's category management framework
• Perform any other tasks given by the manager. Functions as a key account manager
• Functions in a lead capacity over staff employees on a regular basis but is not a
• direct supervisor may assign, schedule and monitor the work of staff
• Receives clear and specific instructions and/or follows standardized instruction or
• procedures without ongoing supervision
• Work is checked for accuracy, adequacy and adherence to instructions
• Receives moderate to limited supervision working from objectives set by supervisor

Minimum Requirements

• National Diploma in Sales a Degree in Sales preferably
• Computer Literacy

• 5 years previous experience in Sales / Account Management

• Problem Solving and Analytical skills
• Valid driver’s license & ability to travel
