Key Accounts Manager (CHE155)

Salary: R25 000 to R30 000 + 2/3 of Medical Aid + Life Cover + Funeral Cover + Provident
Requirements:
• Matric
• 3-5 years key account management / New Business Development experience
• Fibre optic product knowledge
• Excel knowledge
• CRM software knowledge
• Ability to work in a team & independently
• Consistently reaching or exceeding targets (target driven)
• Driven to satisfy customer needs and expectations
• Comfortable with engaging at senior management level
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Cold calling ability
• Presentation skills

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure that you meet the stipulated monthly, quarterly, yearly sales targets, as set out by management;
• Ensure that regular national trips are scheduled for new business development and account management;
• Ensure that all reports are ready for weekly sales meetings;
• Ensure all orders received are entered into Evolution accurately and followed up with procurement / warehouse until final delivery to client;
• Ensure forecasting is done with clients in conjunction with internal departments, including management, and within stated limits to make sure the correct required stock levels are maintained;
• Ensure the slow-moving stock is sold before any new orders are placed with suppliers;
• Ensure CRM is updated daily with all relevant activities;
• Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation (cold calling), presentations; handle objections, find solutions, close deals;
• Schedule regular meetings with clients;
• Proactively manage respective accounts assigned;
• Proactively up-selling and cross-selling into existing accounts;
• Maintain an agreed level of pro-active telephone contact with both existing and prospective customers;
• Ensuring all fibre optic tenders are identified and that a successful and accurate bid is submitted on time;
• Maintain knowledge of competitor’s products and pricing levels;
• Maintain regular research on clients and the fibre industry / market;
• Stay up to date with new products / solutions;
• Maintain regular self-learning with regards to fibre products / solutions;
• Assist procurement / technical department with product pricing;
• Compiling quotes and doing follow ups;
• Maintain a professional standard at all times;
• Ensure that customer complaints, issues and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion. where relevant, such matters must be escalated to the Sales Manager;
• Stay up to date with any developments relevant to customer accounts;
• Perform any ad hoc duties deemed appropriate by the Sales Team;
