Serves as a Customer Service Ambassador by insuring that the food served always exceeds our standards of excellence at all times.

Set the expectation for all kitchen team members to work as a team to maximize productivity.

Ensure standards of cleanliness, food quality, speed and accuracy of the team.

Provide an efficient and cost effective food service to the Company.

Responsibilities :

Responsible for the development and operation of the kitchen team.
Effectively lead the development of others, including work relationships, with emphasis on an exceptional work environment for all kitchen staff
Manage food quality standards by consistently monitoring the temperature of hot and cold food and storage thereof according to industry standards.
Develop and cross train all team members
Ensure a sense of urgency from all kitchen team members at all times
Assign daily work stations and manage breaks
Ensure cleanliness
Manage the day to day operation of the kitchen and scheduling
Identify and solve real problems
Enforce core values
Hold the kitchen staff accountable
Improve staff performance
Manage food costs
Manage inventory rotation and product storage standards.

Skill Requirement :

Diploma / Degree in culinary science would be an advantage.
Must be dual skilled as manager and as Chef.
Strong organizational skills in order to prioritize daily tasks.
Excellent record of kitchen management.
Ability to supervise, motivate, train and develop kitchen staff.
Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress.
Familiar with industry’s best practices.
Planning and organizing skills.
Team Leadership

Keep updated with cooking trends and best practices.
Computer literate (MS Office; Word & Excel)
