Large Heavy Milling Machinist

Our client, blue chip Company based in the Vaal, (Vanderbijlpark) has a vacancy (Permanent) position in the Machine Shop available for a person with the following:

Qualifications:
• Grade 12 or N3 with Technical drawings
• Large heavy Milling Duplex machine operations

Accountabilities:
• Plant safety
• Knowledge of roll turning grinders and machines
• Overhead pendent Cranes
• Machine Tooling and applications
• Measuring equipment
• Quality assurance
• Machine utilization

Duties and Responsibilities:
• To obtain maximum efficiencies towards deadlines/targets
• Control machine to the most cost-effective measures
• Control the accuracy of the process and report deviations
• Control all data to be documented as prescribed
• Report plant equipment and machinery failures
• Manage shift hours

Knowledge to be obtained during training
• Heavy and light Milling machine operations
• Heavy and light overhead cranes
• Measuring equipment

• Eager to learn
• Work without supervision
• Maintain discipline
• Achieve set goals and plan to achieve targets
