LAW FIRM FORENSICS MANAGER - BCOM. INTERNAL AUDITING OR A RELEVANT TERTIARY DEGREE

Employment: Permanent
Location: Brooklyn, Pretoria, Gauteng
Salary: Negotiable – Market related (depending on years of experience)

Minimum 5 years relevant experience as a fraud forensics manager.

Qualifications:
BCom. Internal Auditing or a relevant tertiary degree.

Objectives and Responsibilities:
1. Forensic Investigations
Conduct investigations on allegations of financial mismanagement, maladministration, procurement and tender fraud, employment irregularities, pyramid scheme fraud, and various other allegations of economic crimes and offences.
Conduct search and seizures at the suspect’s premises.
Interview witnesses and suspects.
Compile and review affidavits.
Interrogate data using forensic audit tools.
Draft and finalise reports which sets out details of procedure performed, findings, conclusions and recommendations.
Provide expert witness testimony during disciplinary proceedings.
Register criminal cases with the South African Police Services.
2. Fraud Risk Consulting Services and Forensic Advisory services
Conduct and review work performed on Fraud detection reviews.
Identify fraud gaps and recommending on internal control enhancement.
Facilitate and develop training material for Fraud Ethics and Corporate Governance Training.
Facilitate Fraud Risk Assessment workshops.
3. Practice Management
• Billing administration, such as monitoring the budget, invoicing, recovery of debts as well as aging analysis.
4. Business development
• Build cross-line service networks within the firm.
• Marketing activities to achieve business development key performance area.
