Learning and Development Coordinator (Contract)

Seeking an L&D professional with knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.

In this role you will provide leadership and coordination related curriculum development, training support and activities for programs to improve individual skills as well as organisational performance within the SME / entrepreneurial sector.

You will meet the following minimum requirements
• Degree / Diploma in Education or Training (Occupationally Directed Education and Training Development Practices), Human Resources, Business Management
• At least 3 years’ experience in a training/facilitation background and experience in curriculum/ content development within the learning and development sphere
• Solid knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
• Highly computer literate (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Sharepoint)
• Experience in use of online digital platforms in the development and facilitation of curriculum and content.
• Solid research techniques to collect information from a variety of sources for utilisation in development of training content.

Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Assessing training / development needs through surveys, interviews with SMEs, focus groups, or consultation with managers
• Designing and developing E-Learning, training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
• Coordinating curriculum development, training support and activities.
• Evaluating effectiveness of the L&D programmes and activities
• Capturing learning, development and ecosystem data for reporting purposes.
• Preparing and co-creating multi-media learning material.
• Preparing and rolling-out social media material.

Location: Fourways, Johannesburg
Duration: Contract (12 months)
