Learning & Development Programme Coordinator - Temp
Location: Midrand
Duration: 5 - 6 months
Availability: Immediately! Candidate must be unemployed.

The purpose of the role:
To promote, support and implement new and existing skills development initiatives for our stakeholders and to advise registered employers on how to implement the various learning programmes (i.e. learnerships, internships, work readiness programmes) in accordance with the client's policies and the relevant legislation governing these types of programmes

Main Responsibilities:
o To ensure that the client’s strategies and NSDS targets are achieved through projects;
o To register, promote and implement the various Learning Programmes that form part of the client’s Annual Performance Plan and SLA; as guided by the client’s Discretionary Grant Policy and QMS;
o To manage the implementation of the various projects from inception to completion;
o To liaise with and manage relationships with employers and/or service providers that form part of the Learning Programmes delivery model;
o To travel whilst representing the client at the various stakeholder forums, events, employer site-visits, attending workshops including the honoring Learning Programmes related to invitations by stakeholders;
o To procure goods/products and services through the client's Supply Chain Management Unit as guided by the PFMA, National Treasury and all other prescripts that govern practices of procurement;
o To satisfy all compliance-related activities of the business such as performance reporting; audit requests requirements; performance validation process by DHET and ensuring that the information required is readily available at the time of audit and validation;
o To manage and control the budget and financial aspects of the relevant projects
o To conduct all work activities as guided by the client’s policies and processes, PFMA, SDLA, National Treasury prescripts and Notes, and all other legislation that regulates the SETA environment.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
o Skills Development Act, Levies Act and related aspects pertaining to Learning Programmes.
o BBBEE scorecard pertaining to the Skills Development Scorecard category
o Project management financial acumen
Minimum Requirements:
o Bachelor’s Degree
o Project Management qualification
o 3 years of experience in the implementation of learning programmes
o 3 years of Project Management experience
o A valid Driver’s license

o Prince II Methodology qualification
