Your key job responsibilities as the Leasing Manager in Cape Town will include:

- Manage and direct the day-to-day operations of the leasing department in accordance with organisation’s strategies, policies and procedures
- Take responsibility for all leasing functions, including recommending changes to improve leasing strategies, policies and procedures
- Take responsibility for the productivity and budgetary performance of the leasing department
- Ensure the leasing department meets its targets and deadlines
- Set standards and service levels for the leasing department to drive improved performance
- Oversee the procurement of relevant services and manage suppliers and service providers to ensure the effective deployment of company resources
- Ensure leasing operations combats fraud and promotes the organisation’s values
- Ensure leasing operations comply with regulatory requirements
- Take responsibility for maintaining departmental and statutory records
- Develop and oversee strategies for marketing available units
- Review residential lease agreements and approve amendments to standard lease agreements within approved parameters
- Take responsibility for the performance as well as skills development of the human resources in the leasing department

Requirements for this Leasing Manager job in Cape Town:

- 5 years’ experience in leasing.
- 2 -3 years’ experience managing leasing
- Experience managing a team of people
- Knowledge of property law, Consumer Protection Act and Rental Housing Act and regulations
