Legal Secretary - Northern Suburbs

2. Purpose of Job:

To perform administrative and support functions for the Senior Legal Manager.
3. Key Results/ Accountabilities expected from job
• Supporting the legal and compliance department with all secretarial functions
• Screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate;
• Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments;
• Dealing with incoming email, post, often corresponding on behalf of managers;
• Producing legal documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations;
• Maintaining and populating a contract register database
• Maintaining and populating a library template
• Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff;
• Filing for the department
• Attending to and signing off on international player clearances
• Attending to and signing off on incoming and outgoing tours below international level
• Managing the review of all invoices and facilitating payment as approved

4. Experience & Expertise (Typical educational qualifications & experience)
a. Educational background
• Paralegal certificate essential
b. Experience (years and nature)
• Minimum of 5 years work experience as an Executive Secretary at a legal firm
• Accurate typist with Microsoft Office, Powerpoint
