Duties and responsibilities:
Procure electronic and hard copy library resources to support existing programmes in development
Catalogue and classify library material
Build digital database
Procure furniture and equipment to render services effectively
Keep library tidy and orderly and protect library resources
Respond to queries received from students physically, by telephone and e-mail
Assist students and staff with library related and other queries
Assist students with access and use of Computers, in particular Student Portal
Train users in library procedures when required
Make photocopies and printouts when required
Update library policies, procedures and agreements when required
Apply library policies and procedures
In addition to the duties referred to herein incumbent may from time to time be required to execute other instructions reasonably assigned to him/her
