In full control of the entire Operation, 2 Game Lodges, in the absence of the General Manager.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years in a managerial post within a 5* establishment with good management skills.
Front office experience including reservations with good administrational skills.
Excellent guest relations
Understand HR with disciplinary requirements and able to act accordingly.
Computer literate – knowledge of Semper would be most welcome.
Basic accounting skills.
Discipline, neat and well presented.
No Children permitted
Single status applicants only
Physically fit and able to attend to bush functions – Sleep outs, bush dining.
Drivers licence essential.
Keen eye – Eye for detail – I cannot express this enough.
Interest in food and wine knowledge
Understanding maintenance and be able to think out the box should a issue arrive.
Applicants between 27 – 45 years old (Over 45 will not be considered) male or female.

Duties:

Manage staff and ensure they conform to professional standards at all times.
Follow SOP’s and adapt as changes are made – Constant training.
Provide a supportive roll, guide, mentor and lead by example
Guest relations
Front of house with reservations
Rooms checks and keeping standards of lodge.
Stand in for GM when on leave covering all duties required.
General daily running’s of lodge and ability to keep staff occupied when lodge is quiet.

Salary R 16 000 - R 18 000  including accommodation and company benefits.
