Lodge Manager

Contemporary Intimate luxury Game Lodge - Timbavati - Limpopo
We are looking for a strong manager to take on responsibility for the overall management of the operational facets of a lodge
and trails camp in the Timbavati Nature Reserve, working closely with the operations team and HOD’s
to ensure guests expectations are exceeded, teams are trained and developed and management of company assets.

Qualifications / Experience :

5 years + experience in high level hospitality at a Deputy/ General Manager level
Experience in dealing with landowners and shareholders
Experience in managing an HoD team through regular meetings, objective setting, appraisals
and regular feedback
Experience of forecasting business & planning staffing to meet occupancies
Experience of meeting statutory criteria – licences, health & safety aspects and government
requirements
Experience of implementing and operating systems, controls including stock takes and controls
Understanding of management of utilities and maintenance issues
Previous experience of working in the bush or an isolated environment
Good all round experience of Food & Beverage service, Front of house, housekeeping, etc.
Strong IT experience – Microsoft packages, ResRequest and POS systems
Experience of operating infrastructure, utilities and broader maintenance issues
Experience of compiling budgets and using financial and statistical information to guide the
team and drive the business

Salary R 30 000 - 35 000 negotiable including accommodation
