Our client is a young dynamic organisation that links the Farmer directly with the market by removing the middleman and creating a transparent cost chain. Our office in Klapmuts is seeking to appoint a Local Logistics Administrator//Office Coordinator.  If you are a go-getter, extremely positive,  have a passion for organising and admin and you wish to join an energetic young team, as well as a growing organisation please read the following and apply for the position.

Job Description:

Maintain files and records with effective filing systems;
Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.);
Welcome visitors with a cheerful disposition;
Maintain office equipment  (Printer, Internet, Phone, etc.);
Monitor office supplies inventory and purchase groceries, stationary, etc;
Maintain a clean and organized office environment;
Supervise the Office Cleaner;
Take laundry to laundromat once a week;
Schedule agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc.;
Keep record of stock in office (uniforms, staging bags, CHEP pallets, etc.);
Order uniforms in conjunction with the Marketing Manager;
Carry out program logistics including procurement of supplies, and contractors as needed;
Obtain Information and documentation for conformity, as directed by customers;
Registering and tracking all incoming and outgoing physical correspondence where needed;
Perform logistical and administrative tasks within the companies’ activities, as instructed by management;
Inventory management and Stock control;
Intakes and dispatch document correspondence with clients

Qualifications:

Grade 12;
Tertiary qualification in Logistics.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a logistic admin position.
Previous experience in the logistics industry will be advantegous.
Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);
Must possess an extremely outgoing, friendly disposition and professional demeanor at all times;
Extremely detail-orientated and organised;
Ability to take inititiative;
Ability to solve problems;
Ability to perform well under pressure;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Computer literate (Excel; MS office);
Process-driven, Pro-active and go-getter;
Team player;
Motivated & Self-disciplined;
Emotionally stable
