We are looking for a vibrant hardworking individual to join a dynamic sales team. The main job responsibility is cold calling for logistics services and as such we are looking for a hunter to source new clients. The role will also require that the candidate cultivates and also follows up on current and clients.

Requirements:

Grade 12

Completed Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7 or 8) in Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or Transportation Management.

Extensive logistics background – at least 5 years’ experience in logistics sales.

Advanced skills level in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel and Word).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.

Good communicator, motivator and facilitator.

Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sourcing and establishing new clients Maintaining business relationships

Maintain a strong customer service attitude

Developing and presenting proposals for potential and existing clients

Achieving monthly budgets for both existing and new business

Growing existing business and cross selling with existing clients

Assisting with collection of outstanding monies as and when required

Ensure timeous quotes are given to all customers and that they are accurate and up to date.

The candidate should have a driver’s license and reliable car (non-negotiable)
