The Agriculture division is looking for a committed individual to take up the exciting role of Loss Control Manager, reporting to the Risk Manager. The incumbent will be required to contribute in rendering loss control service of a world-class standard by ensuring that company assets, within the areas of his/her control, are protected and safety requirements are adhered to at all times.
The successful candidate should have a grade 12 certificate or equivalent, a registered S.O.B grade B certificate, a first aid level 2 certificate, a code 8 drivers licenses with PDP, and at least 3 years’ experience in a Security or Loss Control management role.
Results Required
Protect assets through effective preventative measures and controls;
Attend to all incidents with a full investigation, report, and preventative measures;
Ensure adherence to Health and Safety and Loss Prevention Policies and Procedures;
Conduct monthly audits and provide reports on all facilities to ensure compliance;
Flexible working hours due to special operations and task teams;
Management of a security officer staff compliment for an optimised benefit at the lowest cost;
Ensure that all security staff are sufficiently trained, equipped, and motivated to provide an efficient service;
Critical Competencies and Skills
Good computer literacy;
Availability for flexi-time, standby, public holidays and/or weekend duties, which is dependent on operational requirements;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Maintain high work standards, even when pressurised;
Have a clean criminal record.
