Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience

? Bachelor’s degree or higher in technology-related field
? Background in research and/or other data related field
? Post-matric diploma in computer literacy incl Excel and database software, OR equivalent experience an added advantage
? Knowledge of HIV/AIDS
? Proficiency in English
Desirable Required Qualifications and Experience
? 3 Years’ experience in managing HIV/AIDS-related data, including data verification/quality assurance
? 3 Years’ experience in working with DoH data management/M&E systems (From patient-record level (including Tier.Net) to DHIS level
? 3 Years’ experience in managing staff is an advantage
? 3 Years’ experience in training/facilitation is an advantage

K E Y P E R F O R M A N C E A R E A S

? Design M&E systems tools, documents, update and disseminate (or assist therewith) data management tools for internal use by/at the M&E Unit
(e.g. templates, SOPs, memo’s, data flow charts, submission checklist, quality checklist, data verification manuals/procedures, staff progress reports,
stats overview, site visit tool, Job Descriptions, etc.).
? Coordination of monitoring and evaluation for district specific Prevention HIV and TB pilot projects and Prevention and HIV program activities.Assist
with updating the daily, weekly and monthly M&E Strategic / Operational Plans in relation to the HIV and TB programme
? Obtain data on key HIV and TB indicators on monthly basis from all relevant sources (DHIS/ reports, EDR web reports, and other relevant
programme stats).
? Extract and disseminate appropriate patient lists for file audits to improve HIV and TB Integration indicators
? Assist in conducting routine HIV and TB data quality audits and M&E site visits to ensure data quality across the TB programmes (including drug resistant TB).
? Co-facilitate trainings, as well as follow-up/refresher trainings
? Display a healthy work ethic, attitude, and behavior
