SUMMARY
Our client in Paarl has an exciting role available in their Production Department for a Machine Builder.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assembly of packaging machines according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Setup, fault finding, and testing of machines.
Installation and commissioning of machines on customer premises until full signoff by customer.
Fault finding and maintenance on machines and after-sales/ customer support assistance.
Responsible for quality inspections of manufactured machines.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualification: Qualified Fitter or Fitter & Turner.
Minimum of 7 years experience in the building, testing, debugging, installation, and commissioning of packaging machines (experience on liquid packaging machines preferred).
Must be a team player as well as have the ability to work independently.
Must be willing to work overtime and travel nationally as well as internationally as required.
Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic fault finding, as well as tig welding of stainless steel will be to the candidate’s advantage.
Valid driver’s license – Code B
