Purpose of the position:
To operate specific machinery in the production process

Responsibilities:
Operate equipment
Operate specific machinery according to the standard operating procedure (SOP)
Ensure quality assurance
Ensure the integrity of the product
Conduct end of run tasks
Do housekeeping
Conduct cleaning in place (CIP) and prepare equipment for sanitation and production

Requirements:
Grade 12 or relevant qualification
Regular handling of light to medium loads
Medical examination: Hearing and Physical
Shifts/Weekend/Public Holidays
Ability to help solve problems experienced on the line
Good communication skills
Good general knowledge of quality, plant procedures and work instructions
