Maintenance Assistant | Kruger Park | Private Game Reserve

We are looking for experienced MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT to join the Maintenance Team of a Private Game Reserve located in Kruger National Park.

The Maintenance Assistant is responsible to assist the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor with the repair and maintenance of all facilities, buildings and equipment. Failure to provide adequate services may result in unsafe or poorly maintained facilities and equipment.

KEY FOCUS AREAS for Maintenance Assistant:
Timeous follow up on all newly reported issues
Maintain guest rooms using rooms preventive maintenance program
Perform general maintenance to guestrooms and public areas
Perform guest requests as assigned
Assist in all phases of repair work
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
Maintain the proper use, cleaning, maintenance and storage of all tools. Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces
REQUIREMENTS – QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS for Maintenance Assistant:
Minimum Grade 12
Any additional and relevant qualification will be an advantage
Ability to communicate clearly (Spoken and written)
Valid Driver’s License
At least 5 years’ experience in maintenance or building trades preferred
START DATE - TBC
Salary Package:
Basic salary will depend on experience and qualifications
Provident fund: 50/50%
Accommodation: shared room
