Execute regular building site visits and provide feedback to Management.
Prepare project documentation which includes generating a comprehensive scope of works and drawings/sketches where needed and sourcing quotes.
Adjudication of quotes and preparation of approval documents for property management.
Regular site inspections of ongoing projects ensuring scope of work .
Project tracking and provide updates on MDA and sharepoint systems
Contractor coordination on multi disciple projects
Sign off on invoices on completed works
Problem identification & problem solving
Conduct regular building condition assessments and proactively recommend maintenance interventions
Prepare accurate estimates for maintenance budgets
Facilitate site meetings with built environment professionals when required
Occasionally interact with city councils regarding approval of relevant changes.
Contractor performance coaching when required
Liaison between various internal departments where project responsibilities overlap

Post school qualification in Architecture, Civil or Structural Engineering (no other discipline will be considered)
Extensive knowledge of the technical aspects of the built environment required
Minimum of 8 years experience required
MS Office – Intermediate
AutoCAD – Intermediate
Extensive knowledge of building components
Knowledge of electrical installations, electrical motors, generators, and pumps
Wet-services, plumbing and storm-water
HVAC, elevators, escalators, and heat-pumps
Professional Body Registration, e.g. SAIAT, SACAP, ECSA, SAIOSH, etc. - preferred
