Position Title: Maintenance Fitter

Role Summary

To maintain acceptable efficiency standards of Plant and Machinery.
Key Relationships

Internal
• All Plant Maintenance and Engineering functions
Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities Health & Safety:

• Compliance with all EH & S guidelines and procedures.

Key Tasks

• Maintain all production equipment
• Adhere to and keep in place a planned
maintenance system
• Tend to breakdowns in such a manner that
there is minimum lost time
• Control on spares used
• Perform TPM
• Assist with projects i.e. alteration of
machine/upgrades
• Repair pneumatic cylinders, valves, new
installations and basic maintenance

Qualification & Experience
(Prerequisite for the position.
> N3 Mechanical/matric with Maths and Science
• Trade Test Certificate: Fitter and Turner/
Mechatronics
• Minimum 4 years in production environment
• Working knowledge of mechanical
equipment and pneumatics
