One of the leading foods producing organisations in South Africa is currently in the process of hiring Maintenance Managers to join their site in the Malmesbury area. This is an exciting opportunity where the successful incumbent will be working in an environment that is fast paced, be responsible for overseeing the safe operation of the plant and the equipment and for ensuring that the relevant statutory regulations are adhered to. Candidate will also be responsible for the team of Artisans and Electricians.

Duties:
• Implementing reactive and preventative maintenance
• Optimising plant, vehicles and/or equipment
• Managing internal maintenance projects
• Controlling maintenance cost
• Implementing equipment upgrades and enhancements
• Controlling equipment and spares inventory
• Ensuring occupational health and safety standards are adhered to
• Managing and developing the team’s output

Requirements:
• 5 - 6 years' relevant experience within the manufacturing environment
• 3 years' supervisory /managerial experience
• N5 Technical Trade or National Training Certificate
• Computer skills required: SAP, MM, SD, MS Office, PLC
• Maintenance Budgeting experience essential
• Vendor management skills essential
• People Management Skills essential
