Position: Maintenance Manager

Requirements:
• B.Tech: Mechanical Engineering / T4 Mechanical Engineering with GCC (Government Certificate of Competency)
• 5 Years extensive experience in management
• 5 Years’ Experience in a Maintenance / Engineering Environment in automotive Industry
• In-Depth knowledge and experience with Mechanical Processes (Co2 Welding, PLC’s, Paint Plants, Toolroom & Jigs)
• Experience in Presentative Maintenance programs, packages and continuous improvement action plans
• Working Knowledge of Fiix Systems
• Working knowledge of IATF16949, ISO14001 standards and practices
• Develop strategies to improve overall machine uptime and availability in the plant
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage subordinates
• Computer Literate (MS Office)

Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the maintenance department to ensure optimum machine availability
• Effective utilization of the plant preventative maintenance program for both equipment and tooling used for production
• Support and ensure compliance with health and safety in terms of OHSA
• Support and facilitate continuous improvement opportunities throughout the plant
• Ensure that tooling used by production is always in good working conditions and liaise with production / technical teams to ensure tooling preparation is completed timeously and in line with productions schedule
• Installation of plant machinery and equipment as and when required
• Manage, oversee and support subordinates in carrying out daily tasks
