RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage maintenance function at branch and/or area of responsibility
Ensure uninterrupted supply of energy and services to facility/branch
Manage maintenance function, engineering store where applicable
Plan and execute the maintenance plan
Establish continuous improvement practices
Manage the budget
Optimize and reduce the maintenance cost
Manage and reduce the electrical, steam, water, etc. consumption
Manage the maintenance fixed cost budget
Manage staff
Ensure optimal utilization of staff
Apply consistent discipline
Train and develop staff
Provide leadership and training to artisans.
Set objectives, manage and measure the performance of subordinates
Establish safety practices in accordance with the OSH Act
Implement actions to reduce the environmental impact of the plant
Establish a safety culture at the plant
Participate in project management

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5 yrs relevant experience in a maintenance management roll
Trade tested Millwright with minimum N5
Experience in maintenance of packaging and processing equipment
Experience in working with senior management
People management experience
Business English: Fluent
Computer literacy (Advanced)
Code 08 Driver(s) license
Travel off-site/overnight stay
