RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking an experienced MAINTENANCE PROJECT MANAGER for a large concern, position based in Richards Bay.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Grade 12.
Valid Code 08 driver’s license.
Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Experience on SAP programme.
N6 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (S4 Diploma, BTech / BSc Mechanical Degree).
5 years previous experience in a similar position.
3 years supervisory duties in a heavy industry environment.
CORE or BMS is essential / Management Training FMP will be advantageous.
Practical project management experience.
Contract management experience an advantageous.
To provide a support function to engineering and maintenance departmental managers in terms of engineering and maintenance projects by:-
- providing an effective and efficient project service to an agreed standard.
- ensuring the plant in area of responsibility is safe, reliable and can operate as designed,
- managing a continuous improvement in performance and managing the corrosion protection contract and
structural repair contractors teams.
Maintain safety, health and environmental standards.
Project management.
Functional management.
Administration and budget control.
