What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the automotive manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Manage Artisans

* Sign-off Proactive Inspections and Repairs and compile performance reports

* Assist with complex faults

* Mentor & Develop Team

* Lead Root Cause Analysis process

* Maximise Equipment Uptime

* Adherence to Preventative Maintenance Schedule

* Ensure First Time Right Repairs


Background work experience:

* 3 years Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Supervision

* 5 years Conveyors, Pneumatics, Pumps, Motors, Hydraulics, Pulleys, Machines

* 5 years TPM & Root Cause Analysis

* 5 years Complex Fault Finding

* N6, NDip or BTech

* Proactive Maintenance (TPM)

* Managing a team of artisans to ensure preventative maintenance is carried out correctly, and to maximise machine uptime

* Electro-Mechanical Repairs on Conveyors, Pneumatics, Pumps, Motors, Hydraulics, Pulleys, Machines

* Working with a professional maintenance methodology like TPM

* Assisting team with escalations after 30min, to quickly bring equipment back online

* Advantageous: PLC Diagnostics and Repair

Location: Port Elizabeth

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R500K to R600K per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
