MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR/TECHNICIAN R(***)-***-**** CTC per annum

Applications are invited to apply for this excellent opportunity that exists for the above-mentioned position in the Maintenance Department. The successful incumbent will report to the Engineering Manager.

PURPOSE:
Manage the continuous improvement and sustainability of the plant asset capability and reliability assurance.
Process through a clearly defined maintenance strategy. Ensuring compliance to all relevant machine safety regulations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Qualified Electrician Artisan
• Fully capable of PLC programming, fault finding
on LG, Mitsubishi and Delta
• A minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance,
production and/or engineering in the
manufacturing industry is preferable
• Knowledge on preventative maintenance
planning
• Knowledge on hydraulic and pneumatic
systems

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop shut-down and maintenance project
plans;
• Schedule planned and preventative
maintenance;
• Record keeping of maintenance and history;
• Service in accordance of maintenance
preventative schedules;
• Assist Artisans with trouble shooting of
reoccurring problems;
• Supervise Contractors on Site;
• Updating machine down time per machine;
• Update preventative maintenance register;
• Risk Assessment to be done on equipment.
• Identify and ensure all working equipment is in
safe working condition;
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment;
• Ensure safety compliance at all times.

• Very good understanding of press (mechanical
and hydraulic) maintenance and repairs,
ram slides setting and ram leveling
• Planning and organizing abilities

and this includes presentation skills
at Senior Management Level

Short listed candidates may be expected to undergo an assessment. The successful candidate may be expected to work shifts and overtime as and when required. Flexibility is necessary to meet operational requirements.
