REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE (Technical, Specialized, and/or Methodical)

Advanced knowledge of:

Pneumatics and Hydraulics
Lubrication systems
Pumps, bearings and component alignment
Principles of machines (design, control and drive systems, operation), metrology, measurement systems and diagrams
Steam distribution
Budget control, computer literacy, communication and presentation skills
Maintenance management systems (reactive, planned and predictive maintenance systems)
Technical ability to analyze and do problem solving on departmental equipment
Fault finding on mechanical control systems

Basic Knowledge of:
Comply with OSH Act and Regulations
Quality assurance principles


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (Minimum)

National Diploma Mechanical Engineering (preferably a qualified fitter with a trade test)

5 Years’ experience after qualification

Project and/or Process Engineering within automotive

Leadership Experience
