Manager: Actuarial Reporting

Manage a reporting area as well as the prophet model development within the Risk team. Be the team’s main development resource, working closely with the Actuarial Development team, as well as the other risk team members, implementing the future of Risk Reporting through cutting edge technology.

Will have regular interaction with senior management and with business. The position will provide ample opportunity for growth and personal development.
• Managing the valuation of Risk products, and presenting results
• Assistance to Regulatory Reporting and Balance Sheet Management teams
• Provide business support in the budgeting process
• Improvement and automation of existing valuation and reporting processes
• Help set up reporting processes for new ventures and requirements
• Ad-hoc investigations and tasks
• Manage the Prophet model development
• Back-up for crucial month-end tasks
• Qualified actuary
• Good understanding of insurance products
• Life insurance product valuations experience would be an advantage
• Prophet experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills to manage relationships with business stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
• Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel)
