Manager Corporate Social Responsibility
Area: Northern Cape
Package: Salary between R1,200,000 to R1,500,000 per annum, excluding bonuses but depending on experience and meeting of minimum requirements. Remuneration will be based on a competitive all-inclusive flexible package.

Qualifications
• BDegree / BTech Degree (NQF Level 7) in Business Management / Social Science Development / Development Economics or relevant equivalent professional qualification (Essential)
• Honours Degree (NQF Level 8) in Social Science Development / Development Economics or relevant equivalent professional qualification (Recommended)
• Certificate (NQF level 4 – 160 credits) in Supervisory / Management
Experience
• Minimum of five (5) years operational Community development experience in the mining industry / Small business development, management and consulting experience (Essential)
• Minimum of three (3) years operational project management experience (Essential)
• Minimum of three (3) years Stakeholder management experience (Essential)
(Total of ten (10) years’ experience required, of which some can run concurrent)

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
• Intermediate level user of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Knowledge of Corporate governance principles
o Working knowledge of:
• Municipals Act
• BBBEE Act
• Mining Charter
• DTI Scorecards
• Municipal Financial Management Act
• Labour Acts
o Knowledge of:
• National Development Plan
• National and Provincial development strategies and plans
• Social Labour Plan (DMR)
• SED strategy and policies document
• Company practices, procedures and policies including business processes
o Knowledge of government structures and their interrelations
o Understand government and political arenas
• Strong business acumen to understand impact on business
o Good understanding of geographical politics

Other Requirements
• A valid code B/EB driver’s licence
• Medically fit for duty to meet medical fitness requirements and standards

Key Performance Areas Include but Are Not Limited to:
• Strategic management and planning of corporate social responsibility of the Mine’s social capital invested through development initiatives (which includes supplier and enterprise development) and adhering to regulatory compliance, of which includes but are not limited to:
o Strategy and policy
o Enterprise Supplier Development (ESD) and Socio Economic Development (SED) Management
o Monitor and evaluation
o Stakeholder management
o Statutory and other reporting
o Regulatory compliance
o People management
o SHERQ adherence and compliance in own area of work
o Work Ethics
