Your key job responsibilities as the Managing Director (Sportsbook) in Johannesburg will include:

- Communicating, on behalf of the company, with shareholders, government entities, and the public
- Developing high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives
- Leading and motivating subordinates to advance employee engagement develop a high performing managerial team
- Overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
- Maintaining awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities, industry developments, etc.
- Ensuring that the company maintains high social responsibility wherever it does business
- Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits
- Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics
- Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
- Analyse problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
- Assessing risks to the company and ensuring they are monitored and minimized
- Setting strategic goals and making sure they are measurable and describable


Requirements for this Managing Director (Sportsbook) job in Johannesburg:

- a Must have knowledge of South African Sportsbook Market with 8-10 years’ experience
- 4 years of management experience
- P&L management
- Proven track record of successfully running a Sportsbook in South Africa
- Ability to manage a business & teams in a dynamic, forward thinking and entrepreneurial environment
- Ready to aggressively drive the expansion of the business
- Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Must possess thorough knowledge of the Sportsbook industry
