Job Description:

* You will lead and provide strategic direction to the company’s overall Agri SaaS performance. This includes evaluating the effectiveness of cross-business functions (business development, sales, technology and operations) and making appropriate changes that encourage achievement of overall performance aligned with the company growth ambition. You will be accountable for quarterly and annual EBIT/EBITDA performance and for business development with the objective of securing future revenue (3-year view) aligned with the company’s growth strategies.
* You will also lead the Agri SaaS sales and the go-to-market strategy by ensuring that they remain consistent with the business’ overall strategy. You will build and manage a high-confidence pipeline to deliver 3-year sales and revenue targets across all sales channels. Building on the success of a number Agri-subsidy project deliveries by The Company’s you will target this as a new area of growth. It will be your responsibility to ensure a conducive environment for success with regards to people, processes and systems.
* In terms of business development, you will develop and implement new revenue streams and business models for all the company’s propositions (expanding into Subsidy, CVA and FinTech); mature existing propositions; support product managers with development of new modules to deliver on newly introduced monetization strategies; develop and implement growth strategies; and support Finance and Commercial business units to improve margins for Agri SaaS propositions.
 
Qualifications

* At least 5 years of experience in Agri SaaS - sales, business development and solution/service development
* Sub-Saharan Africa work experience in an ICT solutions environment and proven track record in working with multinational corporates with matrix organisation
* A degree in commerce or any other relevant field
* Excellent presentation skills and comfortable in professional discussions and complex solution sales negotiations with 3rd parties on C-level
* Leadership skills
* High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
