Qualifications:

Matric
Minimum Certificate/Diploma or degree (preferably marketing or communications)
Computer literacy

Experience:

1 - 2 years marketing experience

Responsibilties:

Marketing Support:

Assist with marketing campaign implementation as directed by Marketing Manager
Liaise with external suppliers and build strong relationships
Assist with written strategy and presentation documents
Report on activities to internal stakeholders
Continously monitor and report on competitor activity within specifically the Retail space (but not limited to it)

Retail Advertising Administration:

Liase with account managers on co-ordination of Retail Marketing plans (in collaboration with Marketing Manager & business development manager)
Assist in following up on all advertisements required for approvals
Dispatch and liase on feedback on advertising approvals / feedback
Match approved advertising to budget / plan and relevant proof of action (clipping, approved billing, approved invoices)
Compile and put together POA with all elements and share with BDM and Fitbit
Assist with planning and execution of any other relevant Retail marketing activities (i.e. shopping malls promotions)

Marketing Administration:

Download updated marketing collateral from brand portals when new content is loaded
Upload this to Server and Dropbox (where required) and share the link with AM’s and marketing team
Send links to retailers/partners upon request
Support on weekly marketing activity implementation
Support on brand launches / events or other ad hoc activities

POP Administration and Merchandising Support:

Assist with mapping POP requirements and store listings
Liase with all stakeholders to ensure POP deliveries, dispatch and in-store implementation
POP Maintenance: Implement POP displays and refresh requirements, assist with any troubleshooting / fixture fixing
Pack & dispatch relevant POS elements
Follow-up on POS delivery
Replenishment orders for POS elements
POS HQ Maintenance (inventory system)
In store support
Update & communicate price guides
Uniforms, lanyards & name tags: Weekly orders, pack & ship

Reporting:

Ensure that weekly co-op advertising schedule and reports are up-to-date and submitted to the Marketing Manager every Wednesday before COB
Submit Quarterly Marketing Review reports for specific projects as well as overall Retail marketing activity (and co-op advertising tracking) before the QMR submission date each quarter
Complete various DG tracking documents as well as any other retail marketing related reports for brand principles

General Administration:

Raise Purchase Orders on ERP system for suppliers engaged, or as per request from Marketing managers / co-ordinators
Ensure invoices received from suppliers for matching PO’s within time-frame for payment, including invoice sign-off
