Our client, who has a packaging facility for pharmaceutical products in Muizenberg, wants to appoint Material Handler/ Stores and Warehousing controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving all raw materials, packaging components and consumables correctly and accurately and to ensure that all stock received is in good condition according to Atomo’s quality standards.
Other duties include:
• Ensure materials and packaging components are checked, counted and delivery notes and/or invoices are signed upon receiving.
• Any Faulty/damaged goods must be sent back to supplier, with consent from Operations Manager.
• Any stock quarantined for collection must be segregated and loaded for Upliftment.
• Always keep warehouse/mezzanine store clean.
• Raw materials and packaging items must always be stored properly and neatly.
• Daily clean up at the end of the day.
Requirements:
• At least 2 years working experience in a FMCG, Medical and or Pharmaceutical company.
• Knowledge of GMP is an advantage
• Grade 12 or equivalent with maths and science as subjects.
• A certificate/Diploma in stores and warehousing would be advantageous.
