4 year Mechanical Engineering/ OR Drafting Diploma OR Certificate
Matric certificate
Driver’s License and own transport
Minimum 3 - 8+ years’ experience in mechanical Drafting field, preferably within the Automation industry.
Which other industries have you gained Mechanical Drafting in, and for which products did you design.
Background in Automated engineered systems preferred.
Must have very good Solid works Drafting +3D CAD modelling experience.
Conceptualize + Draft Body in White Fixtures (BIW). – advantage
Knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware and software (advantageous).
Conceptualize and design mechanical purpose-built machinery, industrial equipment, robotic welding and assembly cells, Jigs, Fixtures, Conveyor systems and lifting equipment and sheet metal structures.
Analyze mechanical functionality of systems, including Finite Element Analysis.
Develop manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable company standards using Solidworks and 3D CAD Modeling.
Experience in Specification of electro-mechanical + pneumatic control systems.
Good Understanding of Tolerance + References.
Able to work under pressure and deadlines.
Interface with Customers, Vendors, Production Managers and Procurement to find optimal solutions.
Develop manufacturing drawings + BOM’s.
Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Work to company CAD + PDM standards.
Detailed Drafting must be done to ISO, SABS and Customer Standards
Confer with Automation engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions and provide technical information.
Specify system components or direct modifications of products to ensure conformance with engineering Drafting and performance specifications.
Prepared to work overtime when required.
R20 000- R 26 000 negotiable full cost to company CTC per month but depended on experience related to this Vacancy
