About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in HVAC system design to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, documenting, and supporting the implementation of HVAC systems across a variety of construction and engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, or residential construction projects in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
Prepare detailed drawings and schematics using AutoCAD.
Assist in the development and submission of tender application forms, including all technical documentation required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, project managers, and site engineers to ensure design integrity and compliance.
Conduct calculations for load requirements, equipment sizing, and airflow distribution.
Review project specifications, blueprints, and engineering reports to ensure consistency with design goals.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting strict deadlines.
Stay up to date with relevant HVAC industry standards, codes, and technological advancements.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in HVAC system design, preferably with a portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency with AutoCAD is essential; experience using AutoCAD for HVAC design is highly advantageous.
Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, systems, equipment, and components.
Experience in preparing and completing tender applications and bid documents.
Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in technical documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Effective collaboration and teamwork capabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.
