THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE ARE ESSENTIAL:
• Mechanical Trade Certificate •
• Foreman/Supervisory Certificate
• Valid code 08 driver’s license
• Mining/Plant experience would be an added advantage
ALTHOUGH NOT LIMITED TO, THE INCUMBENT’S
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Ensure that production targets for sections are attained at the required level.
• Ensure supervision, management of all employees including Contractors.
• Ensure compliance with required Health, Safety and Environmental Standards
• Ensure good housekeeping standards maintained.
• Maintenance of all general Plant/Shaft mine area.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly inspections. •
• Must also be able to work overtime when required
