Area of responsibility ensuring the compliance with the engineering design standards/codes, QA/QC and HSE requirements:
Define Mechanical Rotating equipment engineering design basis Perform Mechanical Rotating Equipment engineering designs and develop or compile related scope and specifications in collaboration with Process Design Engineer and other disciplines.
Develop and or prepare Mechanical Rotating equipment basic and detailed designs – Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility Study: Perform and or conduct Rotating Equipment project development. Review pre-feasibility and feasibility study reports. - Bidding phase/ Commercial proposal development: Review technical tender documentation Prepare rotating equipment technical documentation for inquiry Review and make technical evaluation of machinery bids received by vendors Prepare material take-off to support construction cost estimate Perform the technical bid analysis and develop technical proposals - Project execution, Manufacturing and Construction Support project machinery lead to review contractual technical documentation and requirements Support machinery lead in technical negotiation with vendors. Review and supervise subcontracted discipline engineering documents Review, mark-up comments and finalise all vendor drawings interfacing with other process or technical disciplines Provide support for document management and certified final documentation Co-ordinate the review and finalisation of equipment purchasing specifications and construction designs - Commissioning and start up: Assist commissioning activity providing information and clarification through vendors Take part in site supervision, inspection, testing and quality controls Coordinate activities for as built drawing
R 800 000-R 1.2 million per annum but subject to company budget offered
