MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR
UPINGTON AREA
Requirements:
- The appointee should have experience of ASME piping and pressure vessels including practical applications and maintenance
- Knowledge of OHS Act 85 of 1993 and the implementation in power plants
- Computerized maintenance management experience
- Maintenance with various pumps, valves, hydraulics, fans, gearboxes, turbines and broilers.
- Preference will be given to candidates with an N6 of higher mechanical qualification.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- a valid driver’s license
- High level computer literacy in Excel.
Responsibilities of the candidates will include:
- Lead and manage of a team of technicians, fitters and su-contractors
- Plan and coordinate work monthly in advance with relevant supervisors
- Coordinate all work woth operations and safety departments
- Plan and schedule maintenace jobs
- Manage workshop
- Develope and improve maintenance procedures
- Reading of engineering drawing to plan accordingly with relevant departments
- Identify of new sub-contractors
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations aswell as technical reporting.
