A very respected company in KLOOF (PINETOWN - KZN) requires a MEMBERSHIPS & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER to develop, implement and direct membership recruitment, retention and communication. To commence employment ASAP

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Memberships - Monitor membership database for all membership records, dues and payments to prepare membership reports. Assist with processing and grading of professional registrations. Maintain good relations with members, answer technical queries and manage / moderate online forums.
2. Membership Retention - Maintain and execution of existing membership marketing plan. Manage member retention: track member expirations, monitor preparation of renewal notices and invoices, monitor payments and membership accounts receivable and analyse membership data. Create and manage membership surveys. Manage and maintain existing membership services, suggest new member services and/or the elimination of obsolete services.

3. Membership Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to recruit and retain members. Oversee development /production of membership brochure and other collateral materials. Photography and video recording to produce marketing material and YouTube videos for website and social platforms to market membership services /benefits. Attend other related conferences and stakeholder meetings / forums in order to increase the visibility of the company in the field of Occupational Health and Safety.

4. Communications - Oversee management and content development of the Company's website and update website as needed including social media platforms. Develop and implement new web services and content as required. Establish and maintain relationships with related stakeholders. Work within established marketing budget parameters and monitor budget performance. Create newsletters and schedule timelines to assure timely circulation of this membership service. Assist with the content and design of newsletters and other publications.

5. Annual Conference - Assist with the arrangements to host an annual International Health and Safety Conference. Set up online conference registration page. Arrange and secure the conference presenters. Arrange and secure the conference sponsorships. Maintain all showcase-listings and produce the conference programme and the delegates’ pack. Monitor registration records and supervise on-site registration. Facilitate /Chair conference proceedings. Manage and prepare conference evaluations and reports.

6. CPD Workshops - Assist with the arrangements to host 10 x Provincial OHS CPD Workshops annually. Set up online workshop registration pages. Arrange and secure the workshop presenters. Arrange and secure the workshop sponsorships. Maintain all showcase-listings and produce the workshop programmes. Monitor registration records and supervise on-site registration. Facilitate /Chair the workshops.

7. Exhibition /Seminar Theatre - Assist with the arrangements to set up and manage the Company's exhibition stand at the annual Expo. Host and facilitate the annual Seminar Theatre at Expo. Arrange and secure the seminar theatre presenters. Maintain all showcase-listings and produce the seminar theatre programme. Facilitate /Chair the seminar theatre.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

* Young dynamic outgoing with excellent writing, speaking, and organizational skills.
* Must be skilled user of MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, website and content management systems (using HTML), Facebook and Twitter.
* Considerable knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety.
* Experience in photography and video recording /editing.
* Knowledge of Your Membership (YM) or similar cloud base software systems will be an added advantage.

EDUCATION:
* Related tertiary qualification/s.

EXPERIENCE:
* Minimum 5-yearS related experience

REMUNERATION:
* Negotiable depending on relevant qualifications and experience
