Mid Enterprise Software Sales Consultant, with experience selling Database and Data Management Solutions, based in Johannesburg. Act as the technical sales lead for customers. You will have the opportunity to extend your technical sales experience by leveraging database and data management solutions, working with blue chip enterprise customers in South Africa.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate between Sales, Product, Services and Support teams to drive customer success
• Work together with the regional Sales Director to ensure customer satisfaction and sales growth
• Identify, qualify, and drive sales opportunities leveraging the Sales Excellence Framework
• Facilitate and aid the Sales engagement with building customer centric business cases for the proposed solutions
• Make recommendations on the best solution to solve customer challenges - Present, Demonstrate and drive Technical Evaluations
• Responsible for driving and achieving revenue and profit targets made up of the combined expectations of the sales team

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s level degree in Computer Science, Commerce, or an engineering field
• Demonstrated success in Customer Success and Technical Sales within Data Management domain and enterprise customers
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to concisely explain complex solution
• Experience with relational database technologies such as SAP Sybase, DB2, Informix, Oracle, SQL amongst others
• Experience with Information Management technologies such as IBM IIS, Informatica, Ab Initio amongst others
• Experience with Cloud Hyperscalers such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP amongst others
• Exceptional interpersonal communications capabilities demonstrated and the ability to work in teams
• Project Management experience to co-ordinate with teams
• Prepared to adopt and learn the “Sales Excellence Framework” (based on MEDDIC & Spin Selling)
