Mid Graphic Designer position is available with a great company in the Cape Town area. The client is looking for someone with Agency background, leadership characteristics, high sense of urgency and a team player.

Responsibilities:
• Creative Development
• Develop a concept and manage brainstorming sessions based on the brief & research conducted, in order to dissect it.
• Creative Artwork Interpret the creative brief, conceptualise the visual solution, present concepts, and create high-quality artwork, to support experiential concepts.
• Management Identify opportunities to make optimal use of internal and external resources (external freelance creatives) to produce the best possible final product. I.e. write briefs, provide visual direction etc.
• Project manage subordinates and contractors in order to ensure that creative production is timeous, cost-effective and quality checked throughout the process.
• Manage and monitor all related administration.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum 3 year Diploma in Visual Communication / Art Direction / Graphic Design
• Minimum 3 years work experience of which minimum 2 should be in an agency environment
• Management experience is advantageous
• Art direction (having led a creative project is advantageous)
• Copywriting skills are advantageous
• Mac Literate
• Adobe CS6 / CC. Minimum Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro
• Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Basic DTP output skills
• Basic understanding of web design
